Electrode design
For tool and mold making, we design sinker EDM electrodes directly from the mold model – including spark gap, holder and manufacturing data. On request, we deliver the milling programs for the electrodes as well.
Fixtures & workholding
To machine a part reliably with as few setups as possible, we design suitable fixtures, mounts and auxiliary tooling – matched to your machine and your workholding system.
Data preparation & surface repair
Gaps, duplicate surfaces, faulty imports: we repair and simplify models, close holes for roughing, add stock allowances and prepare the data for programming.
Data formats
We work with neutral formats such as STEP, IGES and Parasolid and – depending on the interface – with native data from common CAD systems. [Confirm supported native formats with Mario]
